Squidoo Shortcut to Money: How to Make Lenses that Google Finds and Loves Within Hours

I know, I know, every marketer in the whole dang world is claiming to reveal a secret to you.
But I really have some about Squidoo.
And I won’t spell out my biggest one, as in HERE IS MY BIGGEST SECRET – PLEASE DON’T TELL ANYONE, but it’s in there.
And if you do what I say in Chapters 2, 5, and 6 you can’t help but make money.
The rest of my information may not be secret in the sense that somebody is trying to keep it from you, but unless you are a *successful* (meaning you are currently making money and not by accident) internet marketer, you probably don’t explicitly know it.
But I didn’t start making lenses until over 2 years ago. I didn’t start making serious money until christmas of 2010.
I have been an internet marketer in the Hawaii travel niche since 1997. I’ve been refining my affiliate marketing pre-selling skills for all these years, and just basically having fun working only a few hours a day, a few days a week. Actually, after my son was born I took several years off and still made money, but that’s a different story alltogether.
Anyway, in October of 2010, my husband was between jobs and my websites were our sole income for just a little too long so I was thinking of ways I could scale up, but without too much work involved.
I am, after-all, a homeschooling mother first and foremost.
I had been playing with squidoo a little bit – I made a lens over there about a medical condition my son had been dealing with (that lens now gets 400 to 600 visits a day, btw, with amazon and squidoo sales everyday – even though I did not make it for sales). It’s usually my top lens if you want to check it out.
Other than playing around I hadn’t done much.
One day, I saw a toy that *I* thought was cool and my son thought was cool and I thought, hmmm, I should make a lens about that.
Three weeks later, I logged back into Squidoo and I had $40 on my dashboard!!!
What?!?!? Effortless money? $40 for 45 minutes of work? That’s a damn good hourly wage!
I hadn’t even built a backlink! lol. Why hadn’t I built a backlink again? I don’t know – but it was good to know I didn’t need one.
I’m not going to put up screen shots, because these days I think they are worthless for proving credibility.
You either believe me or you don’t I guess. If you don’t believe me, do me a favor and don’t buy my product . ….
Well, back to the story. I had a pretty good idea why the lens took off and so I built a few more like it.
Most did well, some did not. I had a few epiphanies … and I made several thousand dollars over the christmas season.
I left squidoo alone all year – although many don’t. I know someone personally who makes 50K at squidoo, but that’s a full time job for sure.
I think it’s most fun at christmas time, which is why I do it that way.
Anyway, I went back and did it all over again for Christmas 2011. And now I know I’ve got a solid hold on these “secrets” I was telling you about.
That’s somebody elses book.

(Oh, btw, that lens I made was about the real construction toy and it has since made me $531.68 at squidoo (and who knows how much more over at amazon – hundreds for sure) pretty good for 45 minutes in 2010 and a 20 minute or so touch up in 2011)Re-reading that, I bet that’s hard to believe – that one simple toy lens I took 45 minutes to create made me that much money over two christmas seasons (it only made a bit over the rest of the year – non toy lenses will make more usually).
